The forecast of minimum temperature during winter season is helpful for crop management. The medium range weather forecast(MRWF) of minimum temperature and observed during past two years has been analyzed and depicted in the above graphs. From the graphs, it is evident that the deviations in minimum temperature has not be captured by MRWF.
There is possibility of thunderstorm and light rainfall on 26th and 29-30 January,2023 in Bundelkhand Agroclimatic zone of M.P.. The minimum temperature will fall down fog and cold spell will continue after wards in this region. The farmers are advised to withhold irrigation, pesticide and fungicide application in crops.
Possibility of increase in day temperature after 20th February will be possible. This will affect the seed development in wheat, Mustard and chickpea.
